Mental Stimulation and Dementia Risk



What are the long term benefits of good work design, especially of having stimulating jobs?

Studies have examined the association between the risk of dementia or Alzheimer's disease (AD) and the complexity of work. Findings of a study with twins suggest that greater complexity of work, and particularly complex work with people, may reduce the risk of AD.
