Work design is integral to the very core of people’s work experiences.
When work is well-designed, it promotes mental health and well-being, fosters creativity, innovation and optimal job performance. Poorly designed work, however, is dissatisfying and disengaging. Over time, prolonged exposure to poor work design can cause (amongst other negative effects) depression, burnout, stifled learning, and reduced productivity.
Our interactive workshops provide participants with a deep understanding of work design and its impact on employee well-being, engagement, and productivity. We offer the following workshops:
SMART Redesign Strategies

An online short overview of the concept of work design, the SMART model, how the model relates to psychosocial hazards, and examples of what managers and workers can do to make work SMARTer. Designed for organisations to make available to their staff.

Crafting Your Way to SMART Work
For organisations
(Online or face-to-face)
In this workshop, we build on foundational knowledge about work design to focus on how your own work can be crafted and moulded to better fit your skills, abilities, needs, and interests.
