Transportation and getting around

​​

Located in stunning Hibernian Place, The Westin Perth is situated in the heart of Perth city. There are plenty of public transportation options that can get you there — train and bus. Elizabeth Quay, Perth and McIver are the closest train stations, and there are buses running on St Georges Terrace and Wellington Street.

While it is possible to arrive by car and park, our venue is located in the busy city center, and therefore, we recommend public transportation. If you do travel by car, the nearest car park is:

  • CPP Fire Station: 1 Murray Street and Hay Street, Perth (Website)

  • CPP Pier Street: 87-89 Pier Street, Perth (Website)

Registration

​​

You will receive your conference badge upon arrival at the venue. Please remember to bring a digital copy of your ticket confirmation email to receive your badge. Your badge is your ticket and is required to access the conference for both days. Once you've checked in, you will not need to check in again.

Registration on Day 1 opens at 7:45am AWST. Registration on Day 2 opens at 8:30am AWST.​

Photography and videography

​​

There will be photography and videography at the event. If you do not wish to appear in any publicly published photos, please make sure to inform us when you register and get our “no photo” sticker for your badge.

The photos and videos may be used by Curtin University, the sponsors and the photographer on various digital channels. The photos may also be used in press releases and future publications. For more information, please see the terms and conditions.

CANVAS Student App

All registered participants to the CTWD conference will receive a Canvas account. This account provides the ability to view the conference program, ask questions to the speakers and access presentation materials during the conference. Recordings of the conference will be made available on Canvas after the conference.
 

Please make sure to download the free app “CANVAS STUDENT” before you arrive at the conference, so you’re familiar with how to use it during the conference.
